I am the original and only owner and I still have the blurb of a warranty but I can understand that times change and perhaps they really did not mean what they said forty years ago (even though it was honored in '76). The pen was returned in fine working condition and I have used in in the past thirty years for writing Christmas cards only. In 1976 when I was teaching in Brisbane, Australia my pen did need repair and I mailed it to the above address certified internatinal mail with $2.00.
